China Yuchai International Limited [NYSE: CYD] disclosed that it has created a new wholly-owned subsidiary of GYMCL, Guangxi Yuchai Deyou Engine Systems Co., Ltd. It was founded on December 22, 2021, with a share capital of RMB 20 million. CYD has earned a reputation as a prominent manufacturer and distributor of engines for on- and off-road applications in China through its main operating unit, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited (GYMCL).

Guangxi Yuchai Deyou Engine Systems Co., Ltd. is the successor company of the trading business earlier carried out by the GYMCL’s wholly-owned unit, Guangxi Yuchai Deyou Engine Co., Ltd. (YDEC). YDEC will acquire the operations of GYMCL’s marine and power generation unit under the new name Guangxi Yuchai Marine and Genset Power Co., Ltd.

Furthermore, through its unit, GYMCL, China Yuchai International Limited produces, creates, and sells a comprehensive range of light, medium, and heavy-duty engines for trucks, buses, passenger vehicles, construction equipment, maritime, and agriculture applications in China. GYMCL also manufactures diesel generators. GYMCL produces a variety of engines, including diesel, natural gas, and hybrid engines.
