Riot Blockchain, Inc. [NASDAQ: RIOT] disclosed its September production and operations updates. It shared the unaudited Bitcoin production update for September 2021 and its miner shipping/deployment status. Riot is intending to continue offering monthly operational updates and unaudited production results through the end of 2021.
These updates are planned to keep shareholders knowledgeable about the mining and operations development of the firm as it continues to develop additional Bitcoin mining infrastructure. The firm disclosed in September 2021, Riot manufactured 406 BTC. It represents an increase of nearly 346% over its September 2020 production of 91 BTC.
The firm has produced a total of 2,457 BTC years to date through September 2021. It represents an increase of nearly 236% over its BTC production during the same 2020 period of 731 BTC. Furthermore, the firm currently has a deployed fleet of nearly 25,646 miners, with a hash rate capacity of 2.6 exahash per second (EH/s).
In addition, as part of a buying order with Bitmain Technologies Limited, shipments of 2,000 S19J Pro Antminers were delivered in late September to Riot’s Whinstone facility and are anticipated to be implemented once received. Riot expects that it will have a total of 27,646 Antminers deployed, utilizing nearly 90 MW of energy, with a predicted hash rate capacity of 2.8 EH/s by early November.
