Kaixin Auto Holdings [NASDAQ: KXIN] has shared the details of the orders of POCCO EV for the month of September. The firm disclosed that POCCO brand electric vehicle (EV) sales doubled in September over the previous month. The EV is manufactured by Henan Yujie Times Automobile Co., Ltd. which Kaixin has inked a binding term sheet to purchase.
The fast growth of China’s electric vehicle market has accomplished a qualitative milestone in 2021, and this dynamic will continue. Kaixin is fully sure of the future performance of the POCCO brand. Meantime, Kaixin is looking forward to searching for higher qualified partners, and its new energy vehicles department aims at accomplishing the sales target of 120,000 units in 2022.
Furthermore, Yujieb which is the manufacture of the POCCO has unveiled two EV models under the POCCO brand which are known as MeiMei in March of 2021 and DuoDuo in August, respectively. According to Yujie, orders for POCCO EVs has surpassed 3,000 units in September, which represents a 130% increase over that of 1,300 units in August.
Moreover, the actual delivery in September amounted to approximately 1,200 units which represents a 200% increase over that of 400 units in August. Total sales in the upcoming fourth quarter are anticipated to reach 11,500 units.
