Home Depot [NYSE: HD] Announces Partnership with Walmart GoLocal

The Home Depot, Inc. [NYSE: HD] disclosed that it has joined forces with Walmart GoLocal to improve same-day and next-day delivery capabilities for home improvement customers in the U.S. After joining forces with Walmart GoLocal, The Home Depot customers have another option for same-day or next-day delivery on a variety of home enhancement products.

It has been disclosed that HD will provide delivery with Walmart GoLocal in chosen markets in the coming weeks. The firm is also intending plans to step foot in multiple markets across the country by the end of the year. Products that meet the requirements for this planned delivery, including tools, fasteners, paint, and other supplies that easily fit in a car, will have that option turned on at online checkout.

Furthermore, The Home Depot is establishing a broad, advanced delivery network to offer customers same-day or next-day delivery options no matter the product or project. It has been disclosed that it doesn’t matter whether the products are boxes of nails, décor items, or big and bulky shipments of lumber, drywall, or appliances.

In addition, The Home Depot’s 2,300 retail stores deliver traditional in-store shopping experiences as well as the option for customers to place orders online and pick them up in-store at a service desk, locker, or curbside. Moreover, the services of planned delivery are also available. The firm has provided an option to the customers that they can select which day their project materials will be shipped directly to their homes or job sites.
