Tyler Technologies, Inc. [NYSE: TYL] disclosed that it has inked a 10-year agreement with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), Division of Professions and Occupations, for Tyler’s ETK Regulatory solution. DORA’s Division of Professions and Occupations was a current Tyler client who carried out an official RFP process and eventually re-chosen Tyler.
As per the agreement, Tyler will offer the agency a unified licensing regulation management platform to assist it to provide as many licensing services online as possible to grow public access without conceding the quality of data. Tyler will combine multiple solutions to create a unified, thorough, cloud-based system.
In addition to this, Tyler will collaborate with the state to offer the primary financing to deploy the solution. DORA will then accumulate transaction fees from its residents to fund the system over the duration of the contract. DORA is the state of Colorado’s umbrella regulatory agency, is responsible for the management licensing and enrollment for multiple professions and businesses, deploying balanced regulation for Colorado industries, and safeguarding consumers.
Furthermore, more than 250 users and an additional 70 field inspectors will utilize Tyler’s ETK Regulatory platform to handle 233 different license types, which covers electric and plumbing permitting, currently handled on an in-house legacy system. Moreover, the Division of Professions and Occupations is DORA’s biggest division.
